Welcome to the Driver's Education page for Currituck County High School. Here are a few important pieces of information:

    • Once a student has completed the driver's education course, whether through a private company or with the school, and has received a certificate, the student or parent must see the Driver's Ed Coordinator to receive a North Carolina Driving Eligibility Certificate. Students must complete this step BEFORE GOING TO DMV!

    • Also, students participating in any seasonal sports must contact their coach(es) to inform each of the student's enrollment in the driver's education course. If a conflict exists or accommodations cannot be made while taking the course, students must contact the Driver's Ed Coordinator as soon as possible so another class that better fits the student's schedule can be assigned.
