Welcome to the Driver's Education page for Currituck County High School. My name is Mrs. Threadgill, and I am the new Driver's Ed Coordinator. It will be a pleasure to meet your Driver's Education needs, questions, and concerns. Here are a few important pieces of information:
- Once a student has completed the driver's education course, whether through a private company or with the school, and has received a certificate, the student or parents must see Mrs.Threadgill in the Guidance Department to receive a North Carolina Driving Eligibility Certificate. Students must complete this step BEFORE GOING TO DMV!
- Also, students participating in any seasonal sports must contact their coach(es) to inform each of the student's enrollment in the driver's education course. If a conflict exists or accommodations cannot be made while taking the course, students must contact Mrs. Threadgill as soon as possible so another class that better fits the student's schedule can be assigned.
