Welcome!  I’m Sue Giordano, Speech/Language Pathologist and Compliance Coach for Currituck County Schools. I reside in Currituck County.  I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to work in our community while contributing to the educational excellence of our students.

My Bachelor and Master degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders were obtained from Montclair State University in NJ.  I am a Nationally Certified Speech/Language Pathologist and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).  I’m affiliated with the North East Speech-Hearing-Language Association (NESHLA) and the North Carolina Speech Hearing & Language Association (NCSHLA).  I am licensed with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech/Language Pathology and North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.  I serve on the Leadership Team for the Currituck County Schools Exceptional Children's Program.  I'm a recipient of the Moyock Elementary School Employee of the Year for the 2005-06 and 2014-15 school years.  During the past 25 years, my work experiences have ranged from preschool to geriatric populations.

My philosophy is simple:  Make it real, make it functional, make it fun!!

Thank you for your support and the opportunity to work with your child. Please feel free to contact me should any questions or concerns arise. I look forward to this upcoming school year!!
