Welcome!  I’m Sue Giordano, Speech/Language Pathologist for Currituck County Schools.  I’ve enjoyed the past 17 years working in our community while contributing to the educational excellence of our students.

I am a Nationally Certified Speech/Language Pathologist and member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).  My Bachelor & Master Degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders were obtained from Montclair State University in NJ.  I’m affiliated with the North East Speech-Hearing-Language Association (NESHLA) and former member of the North Carolina Speech Hearing & Language Association (NCSHLA).  I am licensed with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech/Language Pathology and North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.  I have served on the Leadership Team for the Currituck County Schools Exceptional Children's Program.  I'm a recipient of the Moyock Elementary School Employee of the Year for the 2005-06 and 2014-15 school years.  During the past 28 years, my work experience has ranged from preschool to geriatric populations.

My philosophy is simple:  Make it real, make it functional, make it fun!!

Thank you for your support and the opportunity to work with your child. Please feel free to contact me should any questions or concerns arise.  I look forward to this upcoming school year!!
