Welcome to Central Elementary. My name is Jennifer Barnes, and I am very excited to be teaching Title 1 again for my eleventh year. This will be my thirty-second year teaching in the elementary schools. Many of those years were in third grade, but I have also worked in first grade, AIG, and as an Instructional Coordinator. I attended Campbell University, where I graduated with honors with a degree of Bachelor of Science in 1991. In 2005, I was certified as a National Board Teacher in Early Childhood. I have also been certified as a Master Literacy Trainer from NCDPI and an Action Based Learning Trainer. Having two children of my own and now grandchildren, I know how important your child's education is to you. Working as a team, I know your child will be successful and share a love of learning.
