    I am a Currituck native and live on Knotts Island. I received a BA from ECU in Literature and Philosophy. I received my American Montessori teaching credentials and worked in Montessori schools for three years. I then received a Master's in Elementary Education from Hampton University. Recently, I received a second masters in Education Media Design through Full Sail University. I have been an educator for 25 years and at Knotts Island since 2000.
