    Pay for School Meals Online 
    Currituck's Child Nutrition Department is working towards providing healthier meal choices.  As your children go through the lunch line at their school, they should be seeing healthier options.  The following items are available on a daily basis:  sub sandwiches, chef salads, fruit cups, tossed salad, and fresh fruit.

    As you visit your child's cafeteria, you will notice the Child Nutrition Department has also begun offering healthier snack options such as Baked Chips, fresh fruits and vegetables, 100% fruit juice drinks and bottled water.

    Please Note:  
    • Include all members of the household:  
      • If the household member does not have contributing income to the household, please mark the appropriate box labeled "Check if NO income".  
      • If the household member does have contributing income, they must also be included in Section 3.
    •  If you have a Snap/FNS, Cash Assistance, or FDPIR case number please place in appropriate section.
    •  Please remember to sign and date the application.
     *The date of eligibility is the date the Central Office School Nutrition enters the completed Family Application for Meal Benefits.  Any charges incurred by the student prior to the date of eligibility are the responsibility of the parent/guardian of the student.   
    New applications can be taken at ANY time during the school year.  Students on free and/or reduced lunch last year will remain at the same status for the first 30 days of school; students will return to FULL PAID STATUS as of September 19, 2018 for JPKEC and October 9, 2018 for CCHS and October 10, 2018 for CES, CCMS, GES, JES, KIES, MES, MMS, and SES.

    If you have not received a notice from the School Nutrition Office for THIS school year,
    you are not approved and must fill out an application
    prior to the above dates to be reviewed for approval.   
    Applications are available at your student's school; as well as, the School Nutrition Office located at 2958 Caratoke Hwy, Currituck, NC  27929.

    Meal Prices as of 07/01/17

    All Grades: $1.25  
    --Reduced Breakfast (all grades): FREE  Thank you to SB415!  

    K-5th Grade: $2.75  <<new price
    6th -12th grade: $3.00  << new price
    --Reduced Lunch (all grades): $0.40 

    Milk (additional or purchased separately):
    1/2 pint = $0.75   

    Free and Reduced Lunch applications are available by clicking the link, or by contacting your child's school office or Child Nutrition at 232-2223, ext. 1023. Applications will also be sent home in their Student Packet on the first day of school. Please fill it out and return it to your child's school.

    Parents may set up a Cafeteria Spending Account by completing and submitting the form to their child's cafeteria manager.
