Welcome to the Currituck County Middle School (CCMS) School Counselor's page.  My name is Jennifer Hudson Goscinski and I am thrilled to be returning for my 8th year as school counselor at CCMS and 24th year in public education.  School Counselor duties include listening to students' academic, emotional, and social concerns, helping students process their concerns and plan goals and actions, acting as 504 coordinator, assisting with high school planning and registration (including J.P. Knapp Early College High School recruitment), coordinating middle school transition activities for fifth graders, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other resources for student success, connecting students and families to outside resources, advocating for students, and scheduling.  Middle school is a unique and special time in a child's life and I enjoy watching students evolve into young adults.  Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email or call me.
