Currituck County Schools NCSIS Information

Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, North Carolina public schools are transitioning to a new Student Information System (SIS), powered by Infinite Campus. The new SIS platform provides features for parents and guardians to monitor their child’s educational progress by accessing grades, attendance, schedules, and other important school information.
Our schools went live on a staggered schedule in August, leading up to the start of the school year. As each school went live, parents and guardians of enrolled students should have received a notification from the school to be on the lookout for an email from Currituck County Schools to create an account. Any parent or guardian who did not receive the email can receive a printed letter from their child's school with instructions on creating an account.
After a school goes live and parents/guardians receive their email or letter, the next step is to activate the new account.

Please Note: Because Campus Parent Portal accounts link all students in one account, some parents and guardians may see a student’s information before the school assigned to that student has officially gone live. For example, a parent with children at both a high school and an elementary school may see their elementary child’s information in their portal account even if the school has not officially gone live because the high school went live first.

What is NCSIS Infinite Campus?
Infinite Campus, a portal platform, powers the North Carolina Student Information System. A Student Information System, or SIS, helps schools manage student information, such as grades and attendance. The system is designed to be user-friendly and provides up-to-date information for families.
The Campus Parent and Campus Student portals provide a convenient place to check student details regarding attendance, scheduling, and grades and enable schools to streamline various processes, such as school fees or required forms.

When will parents/guardians and students receive account access?
Our schools will go live on a staggered schedule beginning in early August and continuing throughout the month leading up to the start of the school year. As each school goes live, parents and guardians of enrolled students will receive a notification from the school to be on the lookout for an email from Currituck County Schools to create an account. Any parent or guardian who does not receive the email will receive a printed letter from their child's school with instructions on creating an account.

What should I do if running into a technical issue while trying to activate my Campus Parent account?
Before creating an account, parents and guardians must have an Activation Key. The Activation Key is provided in the email or printed letter they will receive from Currituck County Schools when their child’s assigned school goes live.
If you have received your Activation Key and attempted to create an account, but ran into a technical issue, please complete the CCS Support Request Form to let us know. We will troubleshoot the issue and let you know when it has been resolved.

Please Note: Parents/guardians with children enrolled at more than one school in the district only need to complete this form one time to receive support in activating their parent/guardian account.

What if I do not have a device or internet connection to create my account?
Families who may not have access to a device or an internet connection are welcome to visit one of our school sites. Each school can provide device access and assistance with creating accounts.

Do parents/guardians and students need separate accounts?
Yes. Parents/Guardians have separate accounts from students that include features not available on student accounts.

How do I access Currituck County Schools NCSIS (Infinite Campus) after setting up my account?
Parents and guardians can access NCSIS from our district website at www.currituck.k12.nc.us or through the Campus Parent mobile app.
Students can access their accounts from our district website, through the launch pad when logged into their Currituck County Schools account, or through the Campus Student mobile app.
