Hi Panther Family!!! My name is Rachel Salazar. I am a familiar face around MES, as I have served as a volunteer, substitute teacher, interim virtual substitute teacher, interim in-person substitute teacher, 1st grade instructional assistant, and 2nd-5th grade instructional assistant/reading interventionist. You may have even seen me playing in traffic 😊. I have now taken on the exciting role of teaching STREAM!!!  YAY!!!

STREAM supports the K‐5 curriculum in the areas of Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Mathematics through project‐based and hands‐on learning activities, allowing students to learn vital skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration and innovation, along with essential technology skill sets. I cannot wait to see these innovative minds at work!!
