Welcome to our Library!
Central Elementary School
Soar into reading with us!
Our school library is a safe place where students develop a lifelong love of reading and learning. The library supports students and staff to read across the curriculum and to make learning an exciting adventure that we navigate together.
Students will visit the library with their class following their schedule. The library is also open for independent checkout during the school day.
I am happy to help students, staff, and families with their reading needs.

A little more about me:
I grew up in North East Ohio, going to Cleveland Indian games (now called the Guardians) and exploring the Cuyahoga Valley, running, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and snow boarding. After high school, I joined the U.S. Army Reserves and served 8 years. During that time, I also went to college and started my family. I moved to Swansboro, North Carolina and called it home from 2004-2023. My husband and I have three children together. Our eldest is now in the United States Coast Guard. We have a daughter attending Pitt Community College and she is on their volleyball team. Our youngest daughter will be attending Central Elementary School with me. We also have one semi-trained German Shepherd and 2 reptiles. When I'm not reading a book or listening to one, you might find my family and me swimming, hiking, kayaking, or fishing.
