    Hello!  Welcome to the Distance Learning Lab, where students take online courses from College of the Albemarle, North Carolina School of Science and Math and APEX. This begins my 26th year in education and my 15th year as a lab facilitator. I am excited to be here and am looking forward to offering extra support and guidance to students taking online courses.

    I grew up in Hertford and graduated from Perquimans County High School. I attended East Carolina University and also have a diploma in Cosmetology from the College of the Albemarle.

    I currently live in Moyock with my husband, Steve.  Together we have three children and three grandchildren. I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
