Shawboro Elementary School

Hi! My name is Lydia Bowman and I am so excited to be your child's 1st grade teacher!

I have so many fun activities in store for us and cannot wait to begin.

I am originally from Southern Maryland and recently moved to the area to teach 1st grade here at Shawboro Elementary.

I graduated from Frostburg State University with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a specialization in Early Childhood.

When I'm not teaching, you'll find me playing with my two kittens, biking around OBX, swimming in the ocean, or reading a good book on the beach. 

I look forward to meeting each of you as well as growing and learning together throughout the school year!
