Hello! Welcome to World History/Economics and Personal Finance. This is my first year teaching at JP Knapp and I am excited to join the Spartan family. During my six years at Pasquotank County High School, I held positions of Department Chair, Mentor, Interact Club Advisor and Teacher. Prior to teaching, I was a banker with Wells Fargo Bank and financial advisor for Wells Fargo Investments. 

I grew up in Va. Beach and Chesapeake, Va, but have lived in Camden for the last 14 years with my husband and two children. My hobbies include camping, fishing, and spending time with my family. My favorite food is sushi, and I live on coffee and coca-cola. My husband and I are planning to travel to Germany, Scotland, Hawaii and Japan once he retires. 

I love teaching my students the importance of learning Social Studies and the impact it can have on their lives.  I strive to make my classes engaging and purposeful. If I can assist you or your student, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
