Students are selected for admission to the J.P. Knapp Early College during the spring semester of their 8th grade year. Any rising 9th grader residing in Currituck County is eligible to apply. We encourage all current 8th grade students living in Currituck County to submit an application regardless of whether they attend Currituck County Schools, are homeschooled, or attend a private institution.
