Welcome to 5th grade!!

I am so excited to be a part of the Moyock Elementary community!

I earned my BS in Elementary Education at Campbell University. This is my 25th year in education with North Carolina and my 2nd year at Moyock Elementary. I have educational experience in grades 3-5. I have taught 4th grade as a classroom teacher, 4th & 5th grade Advanced Math, and Math Interventionist for grades 3-5. I currently teach 5th grade Math & Science. I have a true passion to help every child LEARN and GROW!  I am eager to share that passion and enthusiasm with my students!!

Originally from Clinton, North Carolina, I moved to Chesapeake, Virginia in 2022. I have a daughter, Zoey, who is in her 3rd year at UNC Chapel Hill. I have a son, Will, who attended Cape Fear 2022-23 in Wilmington, NC. I love spending time with them when possible. Some of my favorite hobbies are going to UNC football/basketball games, spending time relaxing at the beach, attending concerts, watching movies, and shopping!!!!
