  • Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! My name is Amy Dail and I teach ELA 6th, 7th and 8th and math 6th and 7th. 

    I am a career switcher and have been in the field of education for close to 20 years. I have my Bachelor's Degree from Bluefield College in Virginia, my teaching certifications from Old Dominion University in Norfolk  and my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. 

    Over the past 20 years, I have been a paraprofessional, a teacher, a lead teacher, an assistant principal and a coordinator at the district level. I am happy to be back in the classroom.

    We moved from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia to North Carolina in October of 2020. YaY! Best decision ever!!

    My husband and I have been married for 24 years. We love outdoor activities and we LOVE to travel. Last August we rescued a two year old Westie and in February we added a puppy Westie to our family. Beckett and Lexie are the best pups ever and are living their best life. 

    I have two adult children and two granddaughters, Kaiden and Emerson and another girl on the way! My grandma name is Amalia!

    I look forward to working with the students, staff and parents of Currituck County.
