    Welcome to Healthful Living at Currituck County High School, my name is Susan Buzzard and it is my privilege to teach your student this semester.  Aside from teaching I am also the Varsity Men's and Women's Swimming coach.  I have been teaching in Currituck County for 15ish years.  I am originally from Shinnston, West Virginia.  I attended Marshall University and Alderson Broaddus College majoring in Recreational Leadership and Management.  I also obtained my teaching license in Healthful Living (k-12) and earned my Masters of Arts in Education with a concentration in Health Education from East Carolina University.  I am also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.  Prior to coming to Currituck County I taught Healthful Living at Northern Vance High School, in Henderson, for 5 years.
