    Hello! Welcome to Preschool!

    My name is Miss Danna Pierro.  This is my 10th year in the preschool program for Currituck County Schools.  I have a B.S. in Child Development, a Master’s Degree in Teaching PreK-6th grade, and I am a  National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT).  Mrs. Kimberly Pace is our Teacher's Assistant. This is her third year working for the county and  growing in her profession by working on her Bachelor's Degree- birth through kindergarten.  

    Preschool is one of the greatest experiences a child will have. This is their first impression of what school and learning is all about. So, it is our job to show how fun learning will be! We are a hands-on- play-based preschool.  We create a fun environment so that the kids don't even realize they are learning.  We focus on life-long skills, which include Social /Emotional Development, Physical Development, Cognitive Development, and Language Development.  We support the needs, personalities, and interests of each child to help build on their confidence in who they are.
