Welcome to Biology and Earth Science! I am Mrs. Victoria Turner.

I have been teaching for 24 years. This is my third year at JPK. I was an 8th grade Science teacher at MMS for 17 years before moving up to high school! I am excited to be here and looking forward to teaching something new. I graduated from Kellogg Community College and Central Michigan University. I have an associate in Art and a Bachelor of Science Degree. My major was Biology. I have 2 minors, in Fine Arts and Outdoor Education. I am certified to teach Science and English 6-9th grades and Biology 9-12th grade. I have also coached Science Olympiad for the last 19 years and I have continued the program here at JPK.

I grew up in Michigan but I have lived in the south (VA and NC) for the last 24 years. I LOVE all things Disney, it is my second home. I love to travel, take pictures, birdwatch, create any kind of art, and spend time with my family. I dislike sweet tea, bugs that bite me, humidity and brussel sprouts!

I live in Chesapeake with my husband and two kids. I have 3 cats: KC, Darth and Sushi. My hobbies include: photography, crafting, reading mysteries, and word games. I can be found at wheelchair basketball tournaments, Disney World, UpNorth (Michigan) or at the latest chalk art competition.
