Welcome to Second Grade at Central Elementary School.
My name is Angela Blocher and I have been teaching for 25 years. I relocated to North Carolina three years ago, so this is my fourth year at Central Elementary. Previously, I taught art, fifth grade and kindergarten in Indiana; Pre-K second grade and was a Curriculum Coach in South Carolina. After teaching for ten years, I decided to extend my learning and I gained my first master's degree in Education and Administration. While working as a curriculum coach in South Carolina, I decided I wasn't done learning and gained another master's degree in Instructional Technology and continued on to receive my Education Specialist Degree for Instructional Technology as well.
I have two amazing children, Bailee and Ethan. Bailee is currently a freshman in college and Ethan is a junior at CCHS. I have an amazing partner, John, who has been by my side for almost ten years.
I believe ALL children can learn and it is my duty to find the "recipe" each holds to be successful.
BE KIND! BE SAFE! BE SMART! BE CENTRAL!
