    Public Notification

     Pursuant to federal legislation, notification is provided that Career and Technical Education (Vocational Education) opportunities in Currituck County Schools will be offered without regard to race, color, gender, national origin, religious preference, disability, marriage or pregnancy.  Program offerings are available at the middle and high school levels in accordance with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study Guide for Career-Technical Education, Public Schools of North Carolina, and local Board of Education policies.  Programs are offered in the following areas:  Agriculture Education, Business and Information Technology Education, Health Science, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, Career Development, Marketing Education, Technology Education and Trade and Industrial Education.

     Mr. Don Monroe serves as Director of Career and Technical Education, Mr. Doug Towle serves as the Section 504 Coordinator (provides for the rights of individuals with disabilities), and the Superintendent serves as the Title VI Coordinator (prohibits discrimination against students on the basis of race, color and national origin) and Title IX Coordinator (prohibits discrimination against students on the basis of sex) for Currituck County Schools.  Equity issues or concerns should be directed to the appropriate coordinator.  Administrative offices are located at 2958 Caratoke Hwy, Currituck, NC, 27929.  Phone number (252) 232-2223.
