Shawboro Elementary School

Hi Y'all!

Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Amory Smith and teaching is my jam!

This is my sixth year teaching 3rd grade at Shawboro Elementary School. I grew up in a small town in Alabama. I rode horses and spent a lot of time on the lake. 

I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from San Diego State University. Then I went on to obtain my teaching credential from San Diego Christian College.

I have 3 beautiful children Montgomery, Emma Sue, and Sawyer. Their personalities are different, unique, and special. 

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, planning with my fellow 3rd grade teachers, drinking coffee, reading, traveling, scuba diving, water sports, snowboarding, riding horses, and playing outside. 

I am so excited to meet you and your children! 

My goal is to get to know your children and for them to become beautiful readers and writers.
