Welcome to 4th grade! This year I have the pleasure of being your English Language Arts (ELA) teacher. Originally I am from Pennsylvania. There, I graduated from Clarion University of PA with a Bachelor's Degree in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have taught in both Florida and southern NC. I have taught every grade level except 1st!  This is my fifth year here at Shawboro (all in 4th grade) and my 14th year teaching overall. 

I am married and we have three children, 2 girls and 1 boy. When I'm not at school I love to spend time going camping with my family!
