Welcome to 5th grade!

I am so excited to be a part of the Moyock Elementary community! I earned my BS in elementary education with a concentration in Social Studies from Elizabeth City State University. This is my eighth year as a classroom teacher. I teach English Language Arts and Social Studies. I have a true passion for both reading and history and I am beyond excited to share my enthusiasm with my students.  

Originally from western Maryland, I moved to the Outer Banks in 2000. I have a son, McKinley, a 2023 graduate from CCHS. We love going to the beach and doing anything outdoors!
