    Face In Hands

     

     

    Hi!  So happy to be meeting all of you today.  

    My name is Mrs. Arditti-Agenos.   It is going to be a year full of learning and new adventures.  I have prepared for these adventures through a diploma in Political Science from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC and a concentration in Sociology from Lenoir-Rhyne and NC State University.

    I was born and raised in Conover, NC near Hickory which is actually close to the mountains.  I moved to the beach in 1999 to begin teaching in Currituck County Schools. 

    It is through travel that I began to become interested in history.  I wanted to understand everything that I was seeing. 

    What will draw you into the study of history this year?  The neat thing is that there are so many ways to be interested in history.  

     

    Class Information

     We will have one map quiz, one subject quiz, one vocab quiz and one test per unit.  Some of the subjects we will study are:

    Early Humans and Rise of Civilizations

    Ancient Egypt

    Ancient China and India

    Ancient Greece

    Ancient Rome

    Aztec, Maya and Inca

    The Middle Ages
