    Kim Robertson
     
    Hello!  My name is Kim Robertson, and I am excited to be working in Currituck County as the District Elementary Literacy Coach and Reading Recovery Teacher Leader.  This will be my fifth year working in Currituck.  I have a BA in early childhood education from The University of North Carolina, a masters in reading from East Carolina University, and I received both my Reading Recovery Teacher and Reading Recovery Teacher Leader certifications from UNCW.  I am a Master Literacy Trained teacher from NCDPI division of K-3 literacy, and I hold a Masters of School Administration from Elizabeth City State Universtiy.  
     
    I have spent the majority of my teaching career in first grade, second grade and Reading Recovery before becoming a teacher leader and literacy coach.  As a result, I have developed a special interest in beginning reading. 
     
     
    I look forward to working with the teachers and students in Currituck County to inspire academic excellence not only in reading but in all subject areas.
