    About me....
This is  my ninth year as a Currituck Knight! I was born and raised in Maryland, spending three years in South Carolina. I retired in June 2015 from Anne Arundel County Public Schools and moved to Currituck County to begin a new life. I have four grown children, four beautiful grandchildren. Looking to substitute, I found myself working full time just two short months after retirement! I have greatly enjoyed my time at Currituck County High School, the wonderful staff and students. High school has been the most rewarding, over all my previous positions in a speical center and in elementary school grades K through 5. I graduated from Salibury State College, now Salisbury University, just 30 minutes from Ocean City, Maryland. I earned my Masters Degree in EC from The College of Notre Dame of Maryland with classes from Johns Hopkins University. I was born and raised in the mountains, although I have a tough time deciding whether I want to live near the ocean or in the mountains.
