Currituck County Schools Multi-Tiered System of Supports
The Integrated Academic and Behavior Systems Division at North Carolina Department of Public Instruction supports the implementation and sustainability of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). The agency’s vision for MTSS is that every North Carolina pre-kindergarten-12th grade public education system implements and sustains all components of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports to ensure college, career and community readiness for all students.
Currituck County Schools MTSS is a multi-tiered framework which promotes school improvement through engaging, research-based academic and behavioral practices as well as Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Currituck County Schools MTSS employs a systems approach using data-driven problem-solving to maximize growth for all.
