Transportation
Welcome to The Transportation Department
Where Bus Safety is a TOP Priority!
Each day, Currituck County Schools' experienced bus drivers transport over 3,000 students to and from school. They travel over back roads, busy highways, bridges, across railroad tracks, and through dangerous intersections to the doors of our schools. Students riding buses are required to follow bus safety and state guidelines. Buses are regularly inspected every 30 days by an experienced service team, along with a yearly state inspection.
If you have questions, please contact the Transportation Department office between the hours of 7 AM and 4 PM. Please note that the office staff often drives buses, and we always do our best to return phone calls as soon as possible.

School Bus Assignments & Stops
School bus assignments and stops are typically released the week before school starts. Families can locate their child's bus information through Campus Parent Portal or the Edulog Parent Portal.
