Technology

Our ultimate goal is that all Currituck County students receive the best education possible. This will allow them to be competitive in our changing global workforce.

The information, policies, and procedures referenced on this page are designed to ensure proper use of the computing and network resources available to our students and staff to maximize learning potential.

Unfortunately, technology does not always work.

Staff Members:

Please submit a technology ticket via the One to One ClassLink or mobile app. Please call our helpdesk line if you have One to One access issues.

Students and Parents:

Please contact your teacher for assistance. Your teacher will submit a technology request, if needed.

Zscaler (MCNC) Internet Authentication

Currituck County County Schools (CCS) uses Zscaler for Internet content filtering. Student and staff users must authenticate (log in with full email address and password) to gain access to the internet. The process allows us to differentiate between the sites students and staff can access. The Zscaler login must match the network login of the device being used (a staff Zscaler login cannot be used for a computer that has been logged in with a student network account).

Users are required to log in to access the internet from each device (desktop, laptop, iPad, smartphone, etc.) and browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari) utilized. This should only be required one time for each device and browser unless browser settings are cleared or the device is restored in some way (imaged, etc.).

Verifying Zscaler Login

If you are having issues accessing websites, you may verify the login utilized to access Zscaler.
