Community Use of Facilities
Community use of facilities in the Currituck County School System is governed by Board Policy 5030: Community Use of Facilities. In October of 2023, the Currituck County School System adopted a new fee schedule and is now following the approved schedule for the rental of school facilities by the community and outside agencies.
Rental Application
Please submit a completed application form to the school principal of the site that you wish to rent.
Your request will be reviewed and sent to the Office of the Superintendent for final approval. Information regarding fees is located here: Facility Use Fees.
Information regarding fees is located below. Prior to use, all users must obtain general liability insurance, $500,000 minimum & $1,000,000 for athletic events, naming Currituck County Schools as an additional insured party. Fees must be paid in full before the date of the event.

Joint Use Agreement between Currituck County Schools (CCS) and the County of Currituck - CCS shall have first priority in the use of all school facilities. Activities sponsored by the County of Currituck (Parks & Recreation) shall have second priority in the use of all indoor and outdoor facilities.
