NCDPI: Integrated Academic & Behavior Systems

The IABS team supports the work of implementing and sustaining a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework through the lens of data, systems and practices for all students. The MTSS framework for districts and schools focuses on academics and behavior from Pre-K through 12th grade.  

The mission of the Office of Exceptional Children is to ensure that students with disabilities develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, and vocationally through the provision of an appropriate individualized education program in the least restrictive environment.
