2026-2027 CCS Connections (District Weekly Newsletter)

CCS Connections, Currituck County Schools’ weekly newsletter, is released every Monday and features district news, updates, important reminders, resources, and upcoming events. Families and staff receive a notification and link to each week’s newsletter by email and through the Campus Parent Portal.

Each issue is also available on the Currituck County Schools website under the Announcements & News section of the homepage and is shared across the district’s social media platforms.

Currituck County Schools issues press releases throughout the school year to share important district news, announcements, accomplishments, and other updates with families, staff, the community, and local media. Press releases are typically published on the district website and shared through the district’s social media platforms. When appropriate, families and staff may also receive releases by email or through the Campus Parent Portal.

2026-2027 School Safety Alerts

As part of Currituck County Schools’ commitment to maintaining open communication with families and promoting safety in our schools, School Safety Alerts may be issued throughout the school year. When a School Safety Alert is issued, families of the school affected by the concern or situation are notified by phone, and the alert is also shared on the district and school Facebook pages.
