My name is Catherine Trotman. I grew up in Currituck County and graduated from Currituck County High School. I received my bachelor's degree from Southern Virginia University. This is my second year teaching 5th grade. I taught first grade in Virginia before moving back to North Carolina. I am grateful to be teaching in the school system that sparked my desire to pursue my career in education.
