Welcome to Fourth Grade!

My name is Mrs. InScore. I am so excited for the 2022/2023 school year.  

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  My family and I are new to the area....again!  My husband grew up between Virginia Beach and Gates County and I (originally from New Jersey) moved to Chesapeake in 2000 to attend graduate school at Regent University. In 2005 we moved to Buies Creek, North Carolina and over this past year, we are now back here and really enjoying it.  Our family of 6 is building a farm on 10 acres in Camden County. 

This is my 21st year in the classroom.  I started my career in 4th grade, visited 3rd grade for a few years, taught Physical Education through Covid and am now back in 4th grade for my second year at Shawboro Elementary. 

Fourth grade is a year of growing up!  You will see your child's knowledge base grow as their minds mature. Students will be responsible for more than they have been in the past, but you can help them by following what is happening in class on Class Dojo and on Google Classroom.  Both of these resources will be used daily.
