Hello! I am Mrs. Hagedorn

I am so excited to be returning to Shawboro for my third year in a row. I will be working with students receiving exceptional children's services in grades kindergarten, first grade, and some students in second grade. I have loved being a mustang and I cannot wait to start this school year! Teaching is something that I have always been very passionate about and I am so delighted to be a part of the amazing Shawboro team again this year! I am so eager to see all of my previous students and meet some students that I have not yet had the pleasure to work with. 

A little background about myself. I have lived most of my life in Missouri but relocated here about three years ago to be closer to family. I live here with my husband, two sons, and our two cats. I graduated from the University of Missouri.- St.Louis with a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special education. A fun fact about me is that I have four chickens and their names are Peep Peep, Luna, Sunny, and Brownie. In my free time, I love to go to the beach, read new books, and spend time with my family. 

This is my third year at Shawboro Elementary School teaching Expectational Children. I absolutely love teaching and I want to make sure my classroom is a place where everyone feels welcome and like they truly belong. I look forward to creating a classroom community together and I cannot wait to have a great year together!
