At Griggs Elementary School, the Title 1 program provides supplementary instructional support in the areas of Language Arts and math. This program supports small group instruction, Reading Recovery, one on one lessons, along with family events, and much more. Each year school staff collaborate to create a Title 1 Plan that outlines the best practices that will be used to ensure that students are receiving the supplemental instruction that they need to be successful in their academic career. The plan is then voted upon by the School Improvement Team, which includes administration, staff, and parent representatives. Below is the plan for the 2020-2021 school year.
