        Hello! My name is Sue Walker Boone, and I am the School Counselor at JP Knapp Early College High School. I am originally from Delaware, but have been living in Currituck County and working in Northeastern North Carolina schools for the past sixteen years.  I have a Masters Degree in School Counseling, and I am Nationally Board Certified in School Counseling/Early childhood through Young Adulthood.
     
         I am very happy to be the School Counselor at JP Knapp Early College.  My work experience prior to becoming a school counselor includes working in college admissions and college financial aid.  This has been very beneficial in my work with the graduating seniors and super seniors here at JP Knapp.
