     Parents Right to Know
     
    As required by The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001, Title I Part A, parents have the right to request information pertaining to their child's school and teacher.
    Information may be requested through the school or can be found on our website:  
    •  The School Improvement Plan
    • Qualifications of your child’s teacher (shared on teachers' webpage) Parents will be notified if their child is being taught by a teacher who is not highly qualified for more than 4 weeks.
    • Professional development opportunities for teachers and assistants to ensure highly qualified personnel (posted on our website)
    • The school’s written parent involvement policy
    • Currituck County Schools System Report Card (posted online)
    • School Report Card (posted at NC Report Card)
