Welcome!  My name is Sue Giordano.  I am a Nationally Certified Speech/Language Pathologist and member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).   I am licensed with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech/Language Pathology and North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.  My Bachelor & Master Degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders were obtained from Montclair State University.  I’m affiliated with the North East Speech-Hearing-Language Association (NESHLA) and former member of the North Carolina Speech Hearing & Language Association (NCSHLA).  I have served on the Leadership Team for the Currituck County Schools Exceptional Children's Program.  I'm a recipient of the Moyock Elementary School Employee of the Year for the 2005-06 and 2014-15 school years. Over my 30+ years, my work experience has ranged from preschool to geriatric populations. My philosophy is simple: Make it real, make it functional, make it fun!!

If you have concerns regarding your child's speech/language skills, please contact me.  My information is listed below.  A screening may be conducted to determine if further evaluation is warranted.

I'm excited to work with my amazing students and their families!
