• Student Transfer  Requests:  CLOSED FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR .

    Parents who missed the extended May 29th deadline

    will have the opportunity to submit a request for the

    next school year (2021-2022).  

    Student Transfer Request Form(click here) - This form should be used if you are requesting enrollment in a school located out of your zone. Completed forms must be submitted to the Administrative Offices located at 2958 Caratoke Highway, Currituck, NC  27929 by May 1st for the new school year.

    Please understand that student enrollment numbers and individual classroom sizes are considerations and may cause student transfers to be denied or rescinded regardless of pervious attendance or past approvals.

     

     

     

     
     

     

     Transportation is not provided for students who attend school outside of their assigned school zone. It will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure students are transported in accordance with the school's schedule.

    A new request must be submitted for each new school year. The deadline for submitting a request is May 1st - prior to the new school year. 
     
     The principal may recommend a transfer to be revoked at any time for violation of attendance, tardiness, and discipline policies.
     
     
     Board Policy 4130- Discretionary Admission gives the Superintendent authority to approve or deny requests for students who do not meet the domicile or residence requirements.  Criteria for consideration includes an extraordinary and specific family need or proof of hardship.  Discretionary Admission will include tuition.
