Meet Mrs. Walker - Media CoordinatorHello! As school media coordinator, I am the leader and manager of a vital educational facility intended for all members of our diverse school community. The school library can have tremendous impact on student learning and achievement. I see my role as a teacher librarian - a vital part in a shared educational leadership here at Currituck County Middle School.I was born and raised in New Jersey, but have called North Carolina my home for over thirty years. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from Trenton State College (NJ), and a Master's degree in Library Science from East Carolina University. I come to Currituck County Middle School with 27 years of teaching experience, having previously taught Graphics and Design at Manteo High School for thirteen years, two years as a Teacher's Assistant at Jarvisburg Elementary School, and now I am in my 12th year here at CCMS. I am inspired by my fellow educators and the students we serve, and look forward to a fun, productive year with your child!Feel free to contact me at: cwalker@currituck.k12.nc.us
