    I am looking forward to a great year! We have many new and exciting things planned for your child this school year along with more staff to support all learners. This will be year twenty-four in eduation for me.   I graduated with a BS degree in Elementary Education (K-6) from East Carolina. I also have a Master's degree in Elementary Education. I did my student teaching in 3rd grade and have taught 1st and 2nd grade prior to this year.  Teaching children how to read each day is my passion. I have one child of my own that will be finishing high school this year.   The beach is my favorite spot to be when the weather is nice.  I am looking forward to helping students across all grade levels.
