Originally from New Paltz, New York, I moved to Virginia Beach in 1994 and began teaching at Knotts Island Elementary. I graduated cum laude from Lycoming College with a Bachelor of Arts,majoring in psychology and elementary ed. in 1992. I was a permanent substitute in the New Paltz School District before I began teaching in Currituck County. I enjoy the small Knotts Island community and love working with the Knotts Island staff and students.
