Ms. Nicole Miller

Welcome! I am Ms.Miller and I teach fourth grade math and science at Dr. WT Griggs Elementary School. I am very passionate about creating a safe and comfortable learning environment for all students. My goal is to help guide students in their math journey to becoming proficient fourth grade mathematicians! I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and have lived in NC for about ten years. I have a seven-year-old son who is in second grade. I love being able to be a parent and teacher at Griggs. I have always wanted to be a teacher and  my passion is helping ALL learners see their potential with their learning. When I am not teaching, I love to read, spend time with family, and go to the beach.

I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with my Bachelors in Special Education. I then attended Arizona State University and received my Masters in Special Education with a concentration in applied behavioral analysis. I received my Elementary Licensure in 2022 to teach general education k-6. I believe my background in special education and knowledge in the field helps me to reach all learners in the general education classroom, especially with math.
