About Me:
I am a graduate of Appalachian State University, with a BS in Mathematics, Secondary Education. I have been teaching since 2004, 14 of those years. I have also been employed full-time as a Haberdasher with the Tom James Company, trained as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch, and as a District Executive for the OId Hickory Council, Boy Scouts of America in that time as well.
Expecations:
In my class, students will be encouraged to think and learn. I use a Mastery-Based model for my classroom where students are allowed to retake tests and quizzes after a period of remediation. In that way, they will get mastery over the concept.
Office Hours:
My planning bell is second bell and runs from 10:20 - 11:50 on a normal schedule day. I am available by email at all times (Monday through Friday), and by phone at the number listed below.
