Welcome to 5th grade!

I am so excited to be a part of the Moyock Elementary community! I earned my BS in elementary education with a concentration in Social Studies from Elizabeth City State University. This is my sixth year as a classroom teacher. I teach English Language Arts and Social Studies. I have a true passion for both reading and history and I am beyond excited to share my enthusiasm with my students.  

Originally from western Maryland, I moved to the Outer Banks in 2000. I have been a resident of lower Currituck County for the last 17 years where I live with my son, McKinley, a senior at CCHS. We love going to the beach and doing anything outdoors!
