    Hello Third Grade Families!

     Let us always be as fierce as these horses about learning!!

    My name is Lindsay Adams and I will be your child’s Third Grade teacher this year! This is my eleventh year teaching third grade, and it is my twelfth year teaching here in Currituck County Schools. I am a National Board Certified Teacher. I am also certified by North Carolina Department of Public Instruction as a RETHINK Education Facilitator. I hold several degrees in education. I have a Bachelor’s of Elementary Education with a minor of Psychology. A Master's of School Administration, and a second Master's of Elementary Education focusing on Leadership. Being a lifelong learner is something I love! I believe in working hard and playing hard. Your child will hear this throughout the year as we learn and grow. 

    In addition to being a lifelong learner, I have been married to my husband Brad for 14 years. We have two beautiful boys, Hunter and Hyatt, who also attend Currituck County Schools. We live on a small farm here in Currituck where I keep my horse, Rosie! She and I enjoy trail riding, fox hunting and just hacking around in the riding arena at home. As a family we hunt, fish, wakeboard, camp, and live at the baseball field!
