SES Teachers Recognized for Performance

While several teachers in Currituck County Schools were recognized by the Board of Education for being awarded performance-based bonuses in January of 2017 under a new pilot program adopted by state lawmakers last year, Shawboro Elementary School celebrated being the home of two teachers who earned high growth status and landed in the top 25% of the state.  During a recent staff meeting, Mrs. Carry Dover and Mrs. Lindsay Adams were recognized before their peers for earning this growth status.  Principal, Mrs. Greta Nelson, shared her pride in leading a school that included these teachers and noted they are two of the many high performing and hardworking teachers that make a difference at Shawboro Elementary School every day!
