New Policies Under Consideration and/or Adopted by the Board

New policies or changes to existing policies being considered by the Board of Education go through a three month review process where the Board presents the policy in its entirety during a regular Board meeting. This is considered the first reading. The policy is then posted to the website and made available at all schools for the public to review and make comments or suggestions. It is brought back to the Board in subsequent meetings for a second and third reading where revisions can be made before action is taken to approve and make effective.
The public is encouraged to review all policies under consideration and may send comments to the Board Chairman, Board members, Superintendent, or to the Contact Us email address on our website. |
