The Currituck County Learning Center (CCLC) is an alternative learning program of the Currituck County School System. Students are referred to the CCLC from their home school to address attendance, behavioral, social or academic needs. We provide a safe, civil and productive educational environment while also providing a structured program that encourages self improvement.

VISION
Preparing students to be responsible citizens and academic achievers in the traditional school setting.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Currituck County Learning Center staff is committed to providing all students with a safe, civil, and productive school environment. We believe that all students can learn. It is our mission to foster resilience in students who have encountered obstacles in the traditional school setting.

Our Beliefs
1. We will teach students to be responsible citizens by providing clear and consistent expectations, modeling expected behaviors, and providing feedback on goals for achieving success.
2. We will teach students tolerance by responding calmly, consistently, and appropriately to student's actions.
3. We will collaboratively communicate with each other, parents, students, and the community to meet the needs of our students.

We are housed on the campus of Currituck County High School at 4203 Caratoke Hwy. in Barco, NC. Our hours of operation are from 8:00am - 3:15pm daily.
